The Treasurer’s report, upon
a motion by Bruce Ingerson, seconded by Jack Koponen, was accepted as
presented.
Trails
Trail Master Bruce Ingerson reported that he
had been dealing with a landowner’s complaint and other than that everything
was quiet.
Under Groomer the following was reported:
President Murphy reported
that the codes for the phone are written on the instruction sheet that is in
the telephone box. Also the new phone is now covered by our insurance policy.
A groomer maintenance work
night was conducted on Wednesday the 25th of February. Extensive
welding was done on the drag in addition to the normal service work. A
discussion was held on our future plans for groomer and drag replacement. Much

Under Unfinished Business the following was reported:
Ancient Roads Committee – President Murphy reported that the committee is
waiting for data entry to be done by the town.
Web Site – Rick Yuris was unable to attend the meeting. It was
noted by those present that the web site looks great, is very informative and
that Rick spends a lot of time keeping it updated.
Poker Run – President Murphy reported that the poker run was
approximately 60 miles long and that 80 snowmobilers participated in the event.
There may be changes if any future Poker Runs are held.
Service Trailers: A discussion
was held concerning our search for two trailers to be used to store BBQ and
Trail supplies in. Some prices have been obtained for new units however we are
still looking for some used ones.
Under
New Business the following was reported:
Membership - The membership committee Chairperson, Missy
Waysville, reported on the details of our
Activities Committee – It was noted that the warming hut and related
activities have been very popular this year and it reflects a lot of work by
the committee. Our club has received many compliments on the work of the
activities committee and the warming hut.
A discussion was held on the
request from the Rotary Club to donate items for their penny sale. President
Murphy wants to give them sweat shirts. Missy Waysville will procure them as
our clothing store is not yet operational.
Fundraising Committee; Missy Waysville, Chairperson of the Fund Raising
Committee, reported that the preparations for the Golf Tournament are well
under way. Committee members have been working for a couple of weeks on
planning the event.
