| The Ludlow Side Hill Cronchers is only able to reach the goals outlined in our Mission Statement by raising funds through various fund raising activities. As outlined in our by-laws we have a specific Fund Raising Committee, appointed annually by our President, which is basically charged with the responsibility of overseeing all fund raising activities. They provide guidance, assistance and support to any group or individuals that choose to help the Club by conducting a fund raising activity.
Presently the Club runs two chicken barbecues per year, a couple of 50/50 raffles, a substantial multi-prize raffle once a year, a fund raising solicitation for grooming at TMA purchase time and special fund raising efforts at times of need, such as the new groomer purchase. Most of the funds raised, go to our trail system, including minor amounts for trail maintenance and signage and the majority of the funds for actual grooming expenses. Grooming expenses include the actual cost of the grooming tractor, drag, and compactor, fuel and maintenance for the equipment. We do not expend any funds for groomer operators, they are all volunteers.
Anyone wishing to actually conduct a fund raising activity or assist with our present fund raising can do so by contacting one of the committee members listed below. Our club really needs support from its members and friends in raising funds, please help if you can by donating or assisting.

Grooming is "Job One" for our club and we absolutely need funds beyond membership dues to get the job done right. |
